Sugar Land Christmas Tree Lighting at Town Square

Friday, November 20, 2026, 5 to 8 pm. Sugar Land Town Square. Shuttles from Mercer Stadium, 4:30 to 9:30 pm.

The City of Sugar Land holds its Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sugar Land Town Square. The city's page lists letters to Santa, hot chocolate, face painting and photo opportunities throughout the evening, with performers playing festive music on the mainstage.

Parking is at Mercer Stadium at no charge, and shuttles run from there to the Town Square from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m., according to the city. Plan a little extra time for the shuttle, and check the city's page for any updates before you go.

We hope to see our neighbors out enjoying the evening, and Julie and our team wish everyone a happy start to the holiday season. If you would like fresh nails for the family photos, we work by appointment, so call ahead. If you are bringing children, a hot chocolate and a letter to Santa are a good reason to dress warmly, and the shuttles mean you will not have to circle for parking.
